History:
“My
parents started me on skis before my second birthday. Given my energy level as
a kid I think it was a way for them to get me out of the house, but needless to say I was hooked from the start. My background in the sport came from ski racing where I spent my time with Ski Club Vail developing a foundation in the sport and learning the true nature of skiing; to be with friends. After racing throughout High School however, I saw the mountains above and lost the
desire to chase the arbitrary clock. As my efforts in racing became futile I
found a love for skiing on my own terms. I started freeskiing and continued to
push the limits of steeper and “crazier” terrain until I started competing in big mountain events in college where
I attended CU Boulder.”

It doesn’t
matter how good you are at skiing as long as you enjoy your time on the hill. Just
