sNOWBASIN dEMO dAYS
This years demo days at Snowbasin, a Sun Valley resort, was full of many ski retailers and deep powder.
Snowbasin is such a great resort anyway, but put about 1-2 feet of fresh powder into the mix, 20 different skis to demo and
it turns out to be a day to remember. Long runs with a super friendly staff makes me wish i spent more time at
Snowbasin. The upper part of the mountain is full of exposed 40-50 degree pitches, chutes, tree skiing and a variety
of real cool lines.
The lodges are a work of art as well. Deluxe log cabin style 'cafeterias' with plenty of room, a
great menu, and many fireplaces to warm your cold toes. Add that to a shuttle that takes you to the resort from the
parking lot and you are one pampered skier.
